North Sichuan Medical University (NSMU) was founded in 1951 at Nanchong in China’s Sichuan Province. It is a government-aided institution which is the second biggest higher education center in the region. Applicants may need to obtain other necessities like a health certificate for visa approval.
The academic year, usually starts during the September-October months each year, with the first semester concluding in January and exams in February. Students get to build on their basics during the first two years. They get to engage in clinical studies and develop practical skills from the third year with a free choice of elective in the final years.
The basic tuition fee at NSMU amounts to RMB 28,000 per annum. Depending on the type of accommodation chosen, yearly expenses excluding food may amount to RMB 33,000 accounting for a hostel, visa, and insurance charges.
